AAA Science look for citizen- Seminar at SHAREITALY
AAA Science looks for citizen. Active, shared and participatory knowledge
Seminar at SHAREITALY Conference by Giovanna Ranci and Sarah Orlandi (Creando)
Can science involve citizens? Can citizens from all over the world participate in new scientific discoveries?
This is the case in Citizen Science projects involving volunteers – of different countries and age – through web platforms and events in schools, parks and museums – to observe and collect environmental data – such as sighting animals rather than classifying astronomical images.
Does this collaboration really bring a benefit to scientific research?
Let’s talk about Citizen Science with:
Andrea Sforzi – Director of the Natural History Museum of the Maremma e Board member of ECSA European Citizen Science Association
15 novembre 2016 – BASE, Milano
